Cardiovascular Centre

Our specialist cardiovascular centre treats problems of the heart and blood vessels. We provide a wide range of services to London, the south east and beyond. Guy's and St Thomas' also has an internationally renowned children's heart service at Evelina London Children's Hospital.
 

The cardiovascular centre has specialized vascular ultrasound cardiovascular services and strong links with the King’s College London cardiac imaging service.
 

Our departments

The centre is comprised of three main departments:

• cardiology
• cardiac surgery
• vascular surgery

Our dedicated staff

Our staff are highly skilled and experienced. We also have strong support teams and researchers working to find new treatments for cardiology and vascular services.

Our nurse-led continuing care team provides ongoing support and advice to patients both at home, and when they have returned home. Their aim is to help patients to recover fully and regain as much independence as possible.
