Introduction:

Turkey’s first finance agreement under the Public Private Partnership(PPP) model was signed for the construction of an euro 272 million integrated health campus project in the southern province of Mersin. The Construction of campus was awarded to DIA Holding Company.

Features:

This Integrated health campus is said to be built in an area of 355,420-square-meters and it will have 1,259 bed capacity. Health campus shall serve to Mersin city along with nearby cities.

This health campus has group of hospitals like general hospital, obstetrics and gynecology and pediatric hospital, cardio-vascular diseases hospital, psychiatry hospital and oncology hospital.

Minister of health, Mehmet Müezzinoglu said Turkey will be a pioneer in terms of its hi-tech, environment-friendly hospitals and will increase total bed capacity by 90,000 to 95,000 by the year 2023. This will bring annual revenue of $20 billion to $25 billion from neighboring countries .
