Parkland Health Centre with an investment of US$23.1 million plans to establish a new medical office building, to enhance its primary care services.

Features:

The construction of a state-of-the-art medical office building covers an area of 30,000 square feet.

This facility will serve as the hub for the centre's primary care services, including family medicine, internal medicine, laboratory, imaging, and retail pharmacy services.

The new facility has been designed to house and accommodate a substantial cohort of up to 23 primary care providers.

In addition, the facility will also introduce a convenient drive-through feature dedicated to serving those utilising the retail pharmacy services.

The current building will be allocated to house crucial medical departments such as obstetrics, paediatric care, surgery, and various specialised disciplines.

This strategic reallocation of resources not only optimises the utilisation of space but also paves the way for the expansion of oncology services and the recruitment of more healthcare professionals.

The campus expansion and new building addition will allow to finish office renovations and generate extra space.

As construction is set to commence in 2023, the new building is slated to be completed by November 2024.
