Introduction:

Inspira Health recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its $240 million expansion at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill.

Features:

The expansion includes a 150,000-square-foot, five-story wing, an overbuild next to the hospital’s main entrance, renovations to clinical and non-clinical spaces on the first floor, and expanded parking.

This project will enhance services at the Gloucester County hospital, including the Intensive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, Maternal Child Health, Observation, Imaging (MRI and CT), Interventional Radiology, and Graduate Medical Education.

The expansion will create 500 construction jobs and over 100 permanent positions. The new wing, overbuild, and parking will be completed first, with renovations starting in Fall 2026.

The new wing and overbuild are expected to open in early 2027.
