Cleveland Clinic has unveiled plans for a $340 million expansion of both Avon Hospital and the Richard E. Jacobs Family Health Center. This major development will nearly double the size of the current campus, located off Nagel Road in Avon.

Avon Hospital will see the addition of a new inpatient bed tower to accommodate increasing patient volumes and meet the region's growing healthcare demands.

Originally opened in 2016 as a five-story, 126-bed facility, the hospital has experienced steady growth in patient numbers over the past nine years.

Richard E. Jacobs Family Health Center will be expanded with approximately 90 new exam rooms and enhanced cancer care services, including radiation oncology.

A new parking garage is also planned to improve accessibility for patients, visitors, and staff as the campus grows.
