About International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare

Now in its 23rd year the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is a biannual gathering of healthcare professionals in quality improvement and patient safety. The International Forum supports and energises the movement for healthcare improvement and connects healthcare leaders and practitioners worldwide to improve outcomes for patients and communities.

The new International Forum in the Asia Pacific showcases internationally recognised keynotes and addresses regional needs, bringing the best of international learning to the region.

The conference programme is developed in close partnership with regional strategic partners, ensuring that it addresses regional needs.

The event aims to bring together healthcare professionals in the region who share a concern and a passion for improving quality and safety in healthcare, to provide the opportunity for healthcare professionals to publish their work as a poster or to be a speaker, to share and learn best practices, meet peers and build international connections.

Our 2018 theme is Connect. Co-Create. Communicate. Across the programme we will be looking at how supporting connections between patients, frontline staff and management leads to a culture of collaboration where everyone in a workforce is empowered to make a difference. We will also explore how through the use of effective communication, ideas can be translated into global improvements in patient care.
