ZEISS CLINIC 360 Receives FDA 510(k) Clearance to Support Simplified Clinical Insights

20 August 2026

ZEISS CLINIC 360, a cloud-based clinical data management solution from ZEISS Medical Technology, has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The platform is designed to help eye care providers manage information from diagnostic devices, electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice systems through a single clinical workflow. It provides a unified view of patient information to support faster and more informed clinical decisions.

ZEISS CLINIC 360 can combine DICOM-enabled data from ZEISS devices, including CIRRUS®, CLARUS® and HFA®, as well as compatible third-party devices. EMR integration also brings key patient information such as risk factors, family history and allergies into the clinical workflow.

The platform provides disease-specific summaries, interactive analysis and tools to support clinical decision-making. For example, clinicians can monitor glaucoma progression using trend analysis and colour-coded alerts based on OCT, intraocular pressure and visual field data.

ZEISS CLINIC 360 also includes tools for securely sharing patient cases and reports with colleagues through the ZEISS Collaborative Care feature, supporting consultations and referrals.

The new platform gives eye care providers an alternative to ZEISS FORUM, which continues to offer on-premise data management. ZEISS CLINIC 360 uses a subscription-based cloud model designed to provide greater flexibility and scalability with lower upfront costs and predictable payments.

The FDA clearance expands ZEISS’s connected digital ophthalmic solutions and supports the company’s focus on improving clinical workflows and personalised patient care.
