Telix Pharmaceuticals has partnered with California-based Subtle Medical, Inc. to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into positron emission tomography (PET) imaging for its Illuccix® (68Ga-PSMA-11) product.

This collaboration introduces Subtle Medical’s SubtlePET™, an FDA-cleared AI solution, into Telix’s imaging procedures, allowing for significantly faster PET scans—reducing imaging time by up to 75% without compromising quality.

SubtlePET’s advanced deep-learning algorithm shortens scan times, reducing patient wait periods and enhancing comfort by minimizing the time patients need to remain motionless.

For healthcare facilities, shorter scan durations help streamline workflows and optimize resources, while also extending the operational life of PET scanners.

Designed to be compatible with any PET scanner model, SubtlePET integrates effortlessly into existing imaging center setups, enabling faster imaging regardless of equipment make or model.

This partnership further enhances Telix's AI portfolio, adding to the accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency of its PSMA-PET imaging agent in the U.S. Initially launched in North America, this collaboration is set to extend across the European Union (except for France and French-speaking Belgium) and aims to support other Telix PET tracers pending regulatory approvals.
