Suki Launches Programme to Enhance Electronic Health Records with AI

21 November 2024

Suki, a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) technology for healthcare, has announced new collaborations with electronic health record (EHR) providers MEDENT and Azalea Health.

Both companies will integrate Suki's AI engine, Suki Platform, into their systems to enhance user experience and improve patient care. These partnerships add to Suki’s existing collaborations with athenahealth and MEDITECH under its EHR programme, which aims to enable EHR vendors to integrate advanced AI features efficiently with minimal development effort.

The partnership with Azalea Health focuses on supporting rural healthcare providers. Azalea Health, a cloud-based EHR system catering to both ambulatory and inpatient care, will incorporate Suki’s ambient listening technology.

This integration is expected to streamline user workflows by reducing manual tasks for clinicians, enabling more time for patient interaction, and enhancing care delivery in underserved areas.

MEDENT, which supports over 11,000 providers across multiple specialties, will also embed Suki’s AI capabilities into its EHR system. Features such as ambient documentation, automated coding, and task assistance will aim to reduce the administrative burden on clinicians.

The integration is designed to improve the accuracy of clinical notes and optimise workflows, allowing providers to focus more on patient care.

The expansion of Suki's EHR programme comes shortly after its partnership with Zoom, a leading telehealth platform. Suki Platform powers Zoom’s ambient clinical documentation capabilities, reducing documentation tasks for healthcare providers during virtual and in-person consultations.

These collaborations highlight Suki’s commitment to offering AI-driven solutions that are interoperable, customisable, and focused on improving healthcare delivery across a variety of settings.
