SHL Advantec will operate independently while supporting SHL Medical's core focus on self-injection device development. The new entity will offer manufacturing and packaging technologies for medical devices and healthcare products, building on SHL Medical's expertise and capabilities.

The company’s existing tooling and automation operations will be integrated into SHL Advantec, strengthening its service and equipment portfolio. This initiative is supported by SHL Medical’s recent acquisitions, including Swiss-based LCA Automation and SMC Mould Innovation, as well as US-based Superior Tooling. Together, these businesses form a global network across three continents, enabling faster support and streamlined supply chains for customers.

By leveraging its experience, SHL Advantec aims to improve production quality and enhance resilience for its clients across various industries while continuing to support SHL Medical's growth in self-injection device manufacturing.

SHL Advantec will be headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, with operations spanning Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Mexico, and the United States. Over 600 employees will contribute to the new group’s efforts to deliver high-quality solutions globally.
