NURA Health Screening Center Opens in Hanoi, Vietnam, Offering Advanced Preventive Care
1 July 2024
FUJIFILM Corporation has inaugurated a new "NURA" health screening center in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking its first presence in Southeast Asia.
This center, operated by the VIETNAM JAPAN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY (VJH), focuses on cancer and lifestyle disease screenings.
VJH, which also owns T-Matsuoka Medical Center, will receive support from FUJIFILM DKH LLP, a subsidiary that runs NURA centers in India and Mongolia.
Fujifilm aims to expand its health screening services in emerging countries by establishing more NURA centers.
In Vietnam, diseases like cancer and ischemic heart disease are leading causes of death. Early detection and timely treatment can help reduce the number of severe cases and fatalities.
Although regular health screenings for employees are mandatory in Vietnam, the current screening rate is only about 3.5%, posing a challenge for early disease detection.
Fujifilm, along with VJH and T-Matsuoka Medical Center, is committed to improving the quality of medical care in Vietnam.
They will leverage Fujifilm's expertise from other NURA centers and work to raise awareness about the importance of health screenings among local hospitals and companies, fostering a culture of proactive health monitoring.
