Nightingale Health Plc’s US subsidiary, Nightingale Health United States Inc., has partnered with Boston Heart Diagnostics Corporation following a successful pilot programme launched in June. This agreement allows Nightingale Health to offer its blood test-based Health Check service to Boston Heart’s customers.

Boston Heart, based in Massachusetts, is dedicated to heart health and provides an advanced diagnostics platform aimed at identifying and reducing the risks of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions that significantly impact the US healthcare system.

The company focuses on delivering diagnostic testing to support a personalised approach to patient health and complex chronic disease management.

Initially, the partnership involved a pilot where Nightingale’s Health Check was offered to a Boston Heart customer. Following the successful pilot during the summer, both parties have established a commercial service model that enables broader access to Nightingale Health’s blood test for Boston Heart’s clientele.

The Health Check identifies risks for eight common chronic diseases and demonstrates equal or superior performance compared to current clinical risk assessment tools for conditions such as myocardial infarction, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, and alcoholic liver disease. Furthermore, the test evaluates 39 commonly used blood markers from a single small-volume blood sample, requiring only age and sex as clinical parameters.

The revenue impact of this agreement for Nightingale Health will vary based on the volume of orders, which are not specified in the agreement.
