MGI Tech Co., has formed a strategic partnership with Dasa, Latin America’s largest medical diagnostics company, to enhance access to advanced genomic technologies for patients in Brazil and advance the country's healthcare sector.

MGI, which operates in 100 countries, has been active in Latin America since 2019. The company recently opened a Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Brazil to support genomic sequencing infrastructure and scientific development.

MGI’s technology is also a key component of Brazil's largest genomic sequencing project, Genomas Brasil.

The partnership aims to combine MGI's state-of-the-art technology with Dasa's extensive diagnostics expertise and healthcare network to improve access to high-quality genetic testing.

This collaboration is expected to advance genomics in Brazil, promote personalized medicine, and enhance overall health outcomes.

Dasa has already incorporated MGI’s sequencing and automation equipment, including the high-throughput DNBSEQ-T7, MGISP-100 and MGISP-960 Automated Sample Preparation Systems, and the ZTRON Appliance, into its laboratories. This integration is set to optimize laboratory workflows, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

By introducing advanced genomic sequencing technologies, this alliance is poised to transform the Brazilian healthcare market, making cutting-edge medical technologies more accessible and affordable.
