ivWatch's patient monitoring technology is designed to enhance IV safety by detecting early signs of IV infiltration and extravasation, thus safeguarding patients. According to the terms of this multi-year agreement, Marathon Medical Corp will handle the distribution of the ivWatch patient monitoring system across the United States. 

ivWatch's track record comprises over 30 clinical studies and more than two decades of research and development. Their products employ a predictive algorithm and multi-spectral light to identify extravasations at their earliest stages when fluids start leaking outside the vein. It's essential to note that every extravasation represents a medication dosing error and can lead to severe consequences, including nerve damage, scarring, skin necrosis, and, in the most severe cases, amputation.
