Endoron Medical, a pioneering medtech company specializing in innovative endograft stapling solutions for the endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, has successfully closed a $10 million Series A funding round.

The round was led by Sofinnova Partners, with significant contributions from the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund).

The capital received will accelerate the clinical validation of Endoron’s flagship product, the catheter-based EndoStapling solution Aortoseal, as it progresses through its Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) approved Early Feasibility Study (EFS).

Sofinnova Partners’ operational experience in medtech and expressed confidence in reaching key clinical and regulatory milestones.

The EIC Fund’s participation underscores Endoron’s commitment to bringing its innovative solution to the European market.

Endoron is focused on advancing technologies for the endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA).

Their technology aims to seal and secure endografts used in minimally invasive AAA repairs, addressing challenges such as migration and endoleaks, and reducing the need for highly invasive open surgeries.

Sofinnova Partners emphasized their strategy of supporting early-stage innovations and their belief in Endoron’s potential to revolutionize AAA repair.

The EIC Fund highlighted their investment’s role in advancing endovascular care and improving patient outcomes.

With the successful completion of this funding round, Endoron is well-positioned to drive innovation in endovascular care and enhance patient outcomes.
