Elucid Raises $55 Million in Oversubscribed Series D Financing

4 September 2026

Elucid, a medical technology company developing AI-powered software for cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment, has raised $55 million in an oversubscribed Series D financing round.

The latest funding brings Elucid’s total capital raised to approximately $185 million. The round includes investment from a new large medical technology company, which becomes the company’s fourth publicly traded strategic investor. Existing and new investors, including IAG Capital Partners and Elevage Medical Technologies, a platform created by Patient Square Capital, also participated.

Elucid will use the funds to accelerate the commercial expansion of its clinical platform, including its FFR-CT technology and Plaque-IQ™. The company will also continue developing its artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and conducting clinical studies.

Elucid is preparing for the commercial launch of its BioIntegrated FFR-CT product following FDA review of its 510(k) submission. The technology is designed to provide non-invasive assessment of fractional flow reserve (FFR) with high accuracy and reproducibility compared with invasive FFR.

The company also offers Plaque-IQ, an FDA-cleared non-invasive technology designed to quantify high-risk plaque types and assess plaque composition in the coronary and carotid arteries. Its accuracy has been validated against histopathology.

Elucid’s platform converts routine CT angiography into quantitative information covering plaque biology, vessel anatomy and FFR physiology. The technology is designed to help clinicians identify patients at higher risk and personalise treatment decisions for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

The company plans to combine FFR-CT with Plaque-IQ, a new user interface and reporting workflow to create a broader clinical decision platform. The approach is intended to support more personalised management and prevention of cardiovascular events, including heart attacks and strokes.
