Cboe Canada Announces the Public Listing of Diagnostic Software Firm Light AI

Cboe Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the successful public offering of Light AI Inc., a Vancouver-based healthcare company. Light AI’s diagnostic software, now available for trading on Cboe Canada under the symbol ALGO, uses Artificial Intelligence to detect bacterial and viral infections.

The patented software analyses smartphone images to identify Strep A infections, offering an alternative to traditional in-person diagnostic methods. In pre-FDA validation studies, the algorithm showed an accuracy rate of around 97%, comparable to the standard swab culture test used for diagnosis.

This listing on Cboe Canada is an important milestone for Light AI, enhancing visibility and liquidity for its investors. The company aims to increase its market presence and create further value for shareholders.
